The Taranaki Rural Support Trust is part of a nationwide network of Trusts created to help rural people overcome challenges that seem overwhelming. The Trust has trained and experienced Rural Facilitators - farming and/or rural professionals with a wide range of experience and knowledge in dealing with challenging rural situations. They are called on to provide support one-on-one in a free and con

fidential environment. If an adverse event is declared by the Ministry of Primary Industries the Taranaki Trust is able to access Government funding and utilize support from many Government agencies to help rural individuals and communities get back on their feet.

This Week is Men's Health Week 15 - 21 June. One of the simplest thing is to take a "Whats your score" test.
It only takes a few minutes and provides peace of mind or identifies a blind spot. https://menshealthweek.co.nz/mens-health-survey/
a self assessment test. The late Dr Tom Mullholland would be proud to see his work continue as founder of "Do You Know your Numbers" and champion of farmers health.

Every day we will post a hint/tip to keep your wellbeing uppermind - it isn't a selfish thing to do but shows you care about being well for farm and family, friends and foe.

Thanks to https://menshealthweek.co.nz/

I heard it was a wonderful night... thank you.

Rural Support Trusts help rural people overcome challenges which at times may seem overwhelming.

So it was great to join a number of colleagues last night and support Suze Redmayne MP for Rangitīkei in the great farming debate at the Rural Leaders Dinner. It was a wonderful evening, but more importantly, will raise a significant sum to support the work of the 14 regional rural support trusts from Te Tai Tokerau to Southland.

Rural Support Trusts comprise rural people, and they do outstanding work helping the wellbeing of our rural communities. I strongly support Ruapehu-Whanganui Rural Support Trust and Rural Support Taranaki for the way they help rural individuals and communities get back on their feet in tough times.
