Students who rode their bikes, scooters or walked up Davies Lane got a little surprise

Always lots going on at lunchtime at school! From knitting club, ukulele lessons, football World Cup watching, to reading in the library or playing outdoors. Fun with friends at school.

Some kids spotted the World Cup on through the staffroom window at 8.15am! Think we may need to put it on in the hall next week before school, with the level of excitement and cheering had today! Mexico vs South Africa - 💥

Today’s weather has meant we have had to postpone today’s sports exchange. It will be now be next Thursday 11th of June. See you then.

A HUGE thank you to New Plymouth Boys’ High for sparing the time of some of your students for their ‘Something for Nothing’ afternoon. The boys moved furniture for us and then our children enjoyed some fun lunchtime games with the older lads. A fun time had by all in the sunshine!

What a great response to Pink Shirt Day here at West End Te Kura ō Mōrere. There was a sea of pink during stretch and connect this morning pushing the anti-bullying message. Looking out for one another, being upstanders not bystanders! Being a proud West Ender 👍.

Thank you to the 70+ people who came to our school quiz night. Thanks to our Fundraising and Social Committee for organising a superb evening and raising just over $1000 to support our school!
