🎉 Eat, Sleep, Library, Repeat - Now Live! 📢

Our July school holiday programme is officially here, and we can't wait for you to dive in!

The full schedule is now available at www.napierlibrary.co.nz/whats-on/holiday-programme with a huge range of events for all ages - from creative workshops and family favourites to epic challenges for teens and tweens.

✨Registrations for our bookable events are now open, so make sure you secure your spots early
✨Many of our activities are drop-in, so you can simply come along on the day and join the fun

Whether you're keen to get crafty, solve puzzles, enjoy a movie, take on a challenge, or just hang out at the library, there's something waiting for you.

Create your own custom bucket hat in this fun, hands-on workshop at our Creation Station tomorrow!

Using our creative tech, you will design and apply your own unique look, perfect for everyday wear or a handmade gift.

We will guide you through using our Cricut machines and heat transfer vinyl step by step, so no experience is needed.

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly session for anyone keen to try something creative and walk away with something you will actually wear.

The caption reads: “A front view of the new McLean State building in Shakespeare Road, Napier, which was opened [20 May] by the MP for Hawke’s Bay, Mr J. R. Harrison.” The building was to have been completed on January 12, 1975, but was delayed due to problems with pile-driving and foundation construction as well as contending with one of the wettest winters on record.
