We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing something special to our local community!

I’m Sarah, a mum to three beautiful girls aged 3, 1, and newborn. My husband, Dan, owns Mangawhai Auto Electrical. Dan and I had the idea — why not create a space where we could spend time with our kids while also giving something meaningful back to our community?

What started as a simple idea quickly grew — from a small play area concept to a vision as big as a McDonald's playground, and now into a 600m² hub of fun and connection for everyone in Mangawhai.
Mangawhai Playland is designed for all ages. It will feature a 200m², four-level indoor playground with a dedicated toddler zone, plus a designated area for teens and adults. Whether you're 2 or 42, there’ll be something here just for you.

We’re beyond excited to open our doors and will keep you posted as we move forward. Our aim is to open by early 2026. Keep an eye out for our banner around town — it’ll reveal our location soon!

Hey Mangawhai, we have been listening, and we are coming! Mangawhai Playland is an indoor playground coming to Mangawhai by December 2025. Creating an amazing space for kids to roam takes time, but we will keep you updated as we head down this process. Right now, we need to show that there is a need in Mangawhai and surrounding areas for an indoor activity for children, therefore if we could please get comments with support that would be hugely appreciated.
