Magical!

The impressive Oparara Arch is the largest limestone arch in the Southern Hemisphere.

It’s over 200 meters long and 40 meters high.

It's all GO in the Oparara!

The access track to the Oparara Arches has fully reopened for the summer season! 🙌

Just north of Karamea, the magnificent Oparara river basin offers explorers a 'lost world' experience.

Public access to the 'Honeycomb Hill Specially Protected Area' is restricted to DOC (Department of Conservation) approved guided tours only, due to the delicate ecological nature of the area.
