Kakaramea School Kakaramea School is a vibrant rural school situated in South Taranaki, 7 km north of Patea on State Highway Three.

Kakaramea School is a contributing school with a varying roll of approximately 80-90 pupils. The school has a strong curriculum focus on literacy and numeracy; the school has a Decile rating of 5.

🌸STAFF APPRECIATION POST 🌸

Better late than never! 🤩🤗Today we were finally able to make paths align to acknowledge and congratulate Mrs Manson on her pool custodian qualification in which she completed late last year.
Thank you Mrs Manson for completing this study on our behalf and for all the hard work and dedication you show towards our kura. We would like acknowledge the sacrifices you had to make along the way to complete this study having to use time outside of the classroom, attend courses in Hamilton and being away from family to complete this study along with navigating the challenges this can bring. We are extremely grateful! ❤️🤍🖤
As you know we love our school pool and we thank you for maintaining it for us, championing skill stroke development and ensure we continue to develop our passion for swimming and grow our water confidence. You make a huge difference and we thank you for all you do! 🤗

Well it has been along time between drinks! But boy was it worth it! 🤗 Today I held a ‘catch up’ morning tea for principal’s award winners while I was off on medical leave (Tanaya to come 😉). It was just so lovely to reconnect and have a laugh. So much yans shared and now I feel caught up on what has been happening thanks to these champs! So much fun was had by all! 🤗
Congratulations Matilda, Lucca, Theo and Louis on your well deserved principal awards from Term 2 and for waiting patiently till I got back! 🤩❤️🤍🖤

FRIENDLY REMINDER & PERMISSION SLIPS

SCHOOL COMMUNITY HANGI
Due to so much happening at school late last week. We have decided to decided to extend the RSVP date for our School Community Hangi till the end of the school day on Friday (19th June).
Please if you let us know if you intend to come along by notifying the school office. School students returning your invitation slips to the office. Would be greatly appreciated, if your child attends school they will naturally be coming so plus let us know if you have other children who are going to attend to ensure our numbers for catering are accurate. Thanks in advance 🙂

PARIROA PA PERMISSION FORMS - TERM 3 VISIT
Please can we have all permission slips for our up and coming Pariroa Pa trip in Week 1 of Term 3 into the school office by tomorrow to allow us to continue to plan and prepare for this event.

Thank you to Koru Room for leading our school assembly today! It was wonderful to see your confidence shine through and we really enjoyed your action song! 🤗
At assembly we were able to present Chris with his runner up prize for his ‘Pink Shirt Day’ design competition, as he was away when these were announced at a previous assembly. Congratulations Chris! Top job! 🤗
Today we were also able to recognise and congratulate Whaea Lulu on her recent graduation and her commitment to her learning journey that lead her to us. Thanks for reflecting our school Ako value. Great way to role model lifeline learning Lulu! We are super proud of you! ❤️🤍🖤
