In June, New Zealand will be celebrating National Volunteer Week, to recognise and thank the millions of people who give their time and skills to our communities.

The library would like to invite you to come and celebrate the volunteers who make our 'Cool Little Town' so vibrant with us, on Wednesday, 17th June, at 5pm.

Meet and hear about the experiences of volunteers from a wide range of organisations, such as St. John's, Shotokan Karate, West Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters, Westland Industrial Heritage Park, Kumara Fire Brigade, Hokitika Drama Society, Hokitika Community Patrol, and many more.
