Our Sikh son making us proud. ❤️

Amanjot Singh of Hastings Boys’ High School, the national winner of a speech competition, delivered a powerful message on unity at our Sikh Pacific Community Hui at Takanini Gurdwara.

His words reminded us that our differences are not barriers, they are strengths. When communities come together with respect, understanding, and a shared purpose, we can achieve incredible things.

The future is bright when young leaders like Amanjot are leading the conversation. We couldn’t be prouder.

Labour’s will cap fares in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch at $20 a week, and $10 everywhere else (like Hamilton!)

With former Speaker and former MP for Te Tai Hauāuru, List MP Adrian Rurawhe announcing his retirement from Parliament next month Georgie Dansey, will come in off the list to replace Adrian in Parliament for the remainder of the current parliamentary term.

Wishing Adrian all the best for this future endeavours, and a big appreciation for the mahi he has done.
