The Tangelo Tree is run by Stephen and Fiona Sandwell, who built and created their home in 1982 here in Raglan where they raised their four children. The Tangelo Tree is nestled below beautiful Mount Karioi, only a 30 minute bush walk away from Raglan’s popular Ngarunui beach. The Tangelo Tree is surrounded by forest and during the day you can relax to the sound of the native bird call. If you’re

lucky, you’ll likely spot a Tui hiding in one of the trees. We are located just 5km from Raglan Town Centre and a short 5 minute drive to Raglan’s world famous left hand surf break, Manu Bay. We strive to make your visit to Raglan a relaxing and enjoyable one and we look forward to having you stay with us soon.
