Wai Splash Community Pool is an indoor heated swimming complex in Dannevirke. We provide lessons from 6months to adults.

Wai Splash complex comprises of a 25m Lane Swimming pool that is heated to 27.5degrees. It also has a 15m toddler pool and beach area for little toddlers which is heated to 32degrees. The pool complex can be hired after hours. You can also have birthday party's here and a BQQ is available if required. Aqua aerobics classes are run during the week see website for timetable

After months of planning, construction, and anticipation, we are thrilled to announce the official opening date of our brand-new Indoor Splash Pad!

This exciting new attraction is the first piece of our major redevelopment projects, creating even more opportunities for fun, play, and family memories all year round.

As the weather gets colder, there's no better time to stay active and keep swimming! Our swim school is going great, and we love seeing so many happy swimmers in the pool each week building confidence, fitness, and water safety skills.

We currently have lane availability for anyone looking to keep up their training through the winter months. Whether you're working on fitness, training for an event, or just wanting to stay active, we'd love to see you in the pool.

🚧💦 BIG SPLASH PAD UPDATE! 💦🚧

We’re excited to share that our Splash Pad has now been fully reinstated! 🙌

This is a huge milestone in the project, and seeing it back in place is a fantastic step forward. The hard work is really starting to come together, and we can finally see the finish line ahead.

We’re now moving into the final two stages of construction, and everything is tracking well for a June opening day! 🎉☀️

🎉 Steph has smashed her first 2km towards her 30km swim goal for June! 🌊

Every kilometre swum is helping raise funds for Coastguard, supporting the incredible work they do to keep our communities safe on the water.

One week ago, Kaiya made a pretty wild suggestion… “Let’s do a triathlon.” even more wildly Steph & Taylor agreed and we were all signed up 🏊🚴🏃

The catch?
None of them had bikes ready to ride.
None of them had helmets.
None of them had trained for it.

So over the week they scrambled to find the gear, squeezed in a couple of bike rides, showed up on race day and gave it everything they had 💪🏽

500m swim ✅
20km bike ride ✅
5km run ✅

And on Sunday — they all crossed that finish line smiling.

This is what IRONMĀORI is all about. Not being the fastest. Not being the most prepared. Just having the courage to say “why not?” and backing yourself enough to give it a go.

We’re seriously proud of these three legends for stepping outside their comfort zone, taking on the challenge and proving that sometimes the hardest part is simply showing up.

Safe to say… this probably won’t be their last triathlon 💙
