We are No. 38 Sqn Wigram in Christchurch and are part of the Air Training Corps. Come along and see what we are about at Wigram Aerodrome, Corsair Drive, Wigram! Everyone is welcome, but you must be between 13 and 15 years old to join! Hope to see you soon! We do all sorts of activities at 38, from leadership and shooting through to bushcraft, navigation and aviation!

We have been given an additional opportunity to earn some money from the Christchurch Marathon. To make the most of this opportunity we need as many volunteers as possible.

If you are available Sunday morning please consider bringing your parents down to Hagley Park and helping out. Even if you are only available for a couple of hours any help is greatly appreciated. Many hands make light work.

Last weekend a group of cadets carried out a tramp to Hallelujah flat and back, an impressive 10km of undulating ground. Good job to all that did it.

Our Term Two Winter fundraiser has launched! Sweet Treats for Cold Feet

Cadet families were e-mailed the details last Friday to sign up for a fundraising page so you can start selling and help us fundraise. We are raising funds to be used to contribute to the subsidised Cadet activities for the Squadron. Once you have a page setup share it with friends and family.

Today No.38 SQN participated in the Christchurch dawn service parade and the Papanui RSA parade. Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped.

This morning's Warbirds check-in had an early start - Off to the airshow today and we heard it took 2 hours to get from the campground to carpark yesterday when leaving at 8am. Check out how bright and alert teenagers can be much earlier in the morning when the stakes are high!
