A reminder to book your child's mid year learner conference . :)

The mid-year learning conferences are an opportunity to meet about your child and to discuss the mid-year report. It is also an opportunity to discuss progress made thus far in the year, discuss future learning, and to collectively discuss your child in general with their kaitiaki teacher.

A reminder that school photos are on Wednesday.

Enrolled Sibling photos can be booked between 8:30am and 8:50am.

Remember, correct school uniform is a must!

Enrolled Sibling photos will be taken before school, from 8:30am until classes commence. Please note that these are taken on a first come, first served basis and we are unable to offer allocated time slots.

To register for an enrolled sibling photo, please scan the QR code.

Registrations close on Tuesday, 16 June 2026.

Year 3 & 4 Zone Cross Country

Nine tamariki proudly represented our school at the Year 3 and 4 Zone Cross Country held at Avonhead School on Wednesday.
For Alice, Ariana, Carter, Harrison, Korra, Piper, Rohan, Venice and William this was their first experience competing against other students from schools across the Northwest Zone. While there were certainly some nerves, they approached the event with enthusiasm, determination and positive attitudes.

They gave it their best effort, showed great perseverance and represented our school with pride.

We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another and gave the event their all!

Wairākei Chess Superstars
Our team enjoyed some fun competition at the Northwest Autumn Sports Tournament.
Ten of our amazing chess players joined Merrin, Isleworth, Avonhead, Roydvale and Harewood School teams for a day of friendly chess competition!

The students showed fantastic sportsmanship and enthusiasm in seven games throughout the day and enjoyed the opportunity to play against some very talented chess players from other schools.
