🚨 Anzac Fire Station is now on Facebook! 🚨
A bit different from most stations, Anzac Fire Station is proud to be a composite station - bringing together full-time career firefighters and operational volunteers under one roof. Different backgrounds, same goal: serving our community when it matters most.
If you live around Wainoni, New Brighton, Aranui, Parklands, Burwood, Dallington, Shirley, Marshlands, or nearby parts of the East Side - this page is for you.
We’re based just down the road from New Brighton Beach, so between the sea breeze, easterlies, and the occasional sand-covered truck, we reckon we’ve got one of the best patches in Christchurch.
This page has been created so we can connect more directly with the communities we proudly serve every day. Whether we’re responding to emergencies, supporting local events, helping with fire safety education, or just sharing what life is like at the station, we want this page to reflect the people and places that make the East Side special.
