Congratulations to the team at New Zealand National Fieldays Society for delivering an exceptional Fieldays 2026.

With more than 132,000 people through the gates, sold-out exhibitor sites, strong sales activity and an overwhelmingly positive atmosphere, this year's event was a powerful reminder of the vital role Fieldays plays in connecting industry, innovation and community. Attendance was up around 20% on last year and represented the strongest turnout in five years. ([Fieldays][1])

As highlighted in the RNZ coverage, success at this scale inevitably brings challenges around traffic, transport and visitor experience. Those growing pains are, however, a reflection of an event that continues to exceed expectations and cement its place as one of New Zealand's most significant economic and industry showcases. ([Fieldays][1])

A special acknowledgement to CEO Richard Lindroos, the staff, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors and supporters whose collective efforts have delivered what many are describing as one of the best Fieldays on record. ([Fieldays][1])

From all of us at the Cambridge Business Chamber, congratulations on a remarkable achievement and thank you for the significant contribution Fieldays makes to our region and the wider New Zealand economy.

The Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event and the ultimate launch platform for cutting edge technology and innovation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our annual Post-Budget Breakfast with Hon. Louise Upston.

As is often the case with Budget announcements, there was a range of views and around what the Budget means for businesses, households and our wider economy.

From a Cambridge perspective, we welcomed the commitment to the Cambridge to Piarere project — a long-awaited investment that will improve safety, resilience and connectivity on one of New Zealand's most significant transport corridors.

At the same time, we reiterated our ongoing advocacy for ramps as part of the wider network design. Through our work within Cambridge Connections and alongside our business community, we continue to advocate for solutions that help remove heavy vehicle movements from our town where practical, improve freight efficiency, and support Cambridge's future growth.

Thank you to Minister Upston for taking the time to share her insights and engage openly with our business community.

Thank you for hosting the event and for your endorsement of the value these sessions bring. Hautapu is such an important part of our district, and we are proud to play a role in connecting local businesses while acting as a conduit for conversations around infrastructure investment, growth, and future planning. These opportunities to bring business and stakeholders together are invaluable in ensuring our community remains informed, engaged, and well-positioned for the future.

We hosted a very special evening at 1866 to celebrate the official launch of the 2026 edition of Love Cambridge.

It was a pleasure to bring together our Chamber Board, partners, and the talented teams at Kaz - Design Brand Web and Belle PR who help bring this publication to life.

Love Cambridge continues to showcase the people, businesses, places and stories that make our town such a vibrant place to live, work and visit.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, advertised, supported and believed in the vision behind this publication. Without you, it simply wouldn’t exist.

The new edition is now rolling out across the district — keep an eye out and grab your copy soon!
