With Harvest #5 filed away for another year, the cycle kicks off again.
We’ve been busy winterising harvesters for customers, ensuring they’re fully lubricated and stored correctly until service time rolls around.
It’s also been a busy period getting winter implements and tractors ready to roll — Klima's, barrel pruners, sweepers, and mulchers have all been getting some attention before the winter jobs kick off.

🍇⚙️ Heads down, bum up!
We’ve been busy getting everything prepped for Grape Harvest 2026 here in Marlborough — machines tuned, parts sorted, and the team firing on all cylinders. Final machines are now leaving the workshop, soon to be harvesting 24/7!
With hand harvesting underway and early‑variety machine harvest kicking off, the PVQ crew is gearing up to support our customers around the clock.
A big thanks to our customers for keeping us on our toes, and to everyone across the industry: wishing you a smooth, safe, and successful harvest ahead.

👷 Meet the Crew: Charlie - Our Apprentice Extraordinaire

Charlie joined us two years ago (come November) and has been learning the ropes as our apprentice ever since.

Originally from Hawke’s Bay, Charlie moved to Blenheim in 2010 and now calls Marlborough home. He reckons the best part of the job is the people he works with - and the laughs that come with it! Plus, of course, getting stuck into the variety of work we do here at PVQ.

When he’s not in the workshop, you’ll probably find Charlie out on his motorbike, hunting, fishing, or keeping active with a bit of exercise.

We’re stoked to have Charlie on the team and can’t wait to see where his apprenticeship takes him!

This time last week we were gearing up for race day… and what a Saturday it was! 💪 Some of the PVQ team took on the Queen Charlotte Relay. 🏃‍♂️ John, Charlie, Eddie, W***y, and W***y’s brother Dan (who kindly stood in for an injured team member 🙌) all lined up, and each of them smashed their leg on the day!

The weather turned it on (with a cheeky headwind to keep things interesting ), but spirits were high and everyone had an awesome time out on the course.

A big thanks to Simon for being our driver for the day 👏
