From helping with registrations and setting up venues to cheering on participants, selling merchandise, collecting donations and supporting our teams behind the scenes, our Event Volunteers play a vital role in making every event a success.

Their energy, enthusiasm and commitment help create memorable experiences for our supporters while raising essential funds that enable Cancer Society Auckland Northland to support people affected by cancer and fund vital cancer research. Every event, big or small, is stronger because of the people who generously give their time to help make it happen.

To our Event Volunteers, thank you for showing up, pitching in and helping create a future with less cancer and more birthdays. We couldn't do it without you.

For many people travelling to Auckland for cancer treatment, Domain Lodge provides more than just accommodation. It offers comfort, connection and a welcoming place to stay during a challenging time. Our volunteer hosts are at the heart of that experience.

With their warm smiles, friendly conversations and willingness to help, they create an environment where guests feel supported, cared for and at ease. To our Domain Lodge Host Volunteers, thank you for the kindness, compassion and generosity you share with every guest who walks through our doors. Your support helps make a difficult journey a little easier and reminds people affected by cancer that they are not alone.

From all of us at Cancer Society Auckland Northland, thank you for the difference you make every day.

A cancer diagnosis can bring many challenges, and getting to treatment shouldn't be one of them. Thanks to our dedicated volunteer drivers, hundreds of people across Auckland can access the care they need, with the reassurance of a friendly face and a helping hand along the way.

Whether it's an early morning pick-up, a long-distance journey, or simply being there to listen, our volunteer drivers provide so much more than transport. They offer kindness, comfort and connection during what can be a difficult time. To every volunteer driver, thank you for the time, care and compassion you give so generously. Every journey you make helps ensure no one faces cancer alone.

From all of us at Cancer Society Auckland Northland, thank you for going the extra mile!

πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈDo you constantly feel like you're running on empty?

Fatigue is one of the most common challenges people face, yet many of us aren't sure what's actually driving it.

In this free webinar with the Cancer Society, I'll be sharing some of the biggest factors that impact energy levels, including sleep, nutrition and key nutrients that are often overlooked.

Whether you're looking to improve your everyday wellbeing, reduce your cancer risk, support someone going through treatment, or recover after cancer, I'd love you to join us.

Plus, we'll finish with a live Q&A alongside a Cancer Society nurse.

We were recently invited by the team at Door Window Systems to receive a $2000 donation

They operate a voluntary employee charitable donation scheme which is then matched by the company at the end of each year.

We’re incredibly grateful that they chose us as one of their chosen charities this year and it was a fantastic opportunity to let the team know what we do and how the money will be spent.

Looking to build your leadership and people skills while giving back?

Kapil, a volunteer with the Cancer Society and a Business Development Manager by profession, found that taking on an Area Coordinator role was a powerful way to strengthen his relationship management skills.

This Daffodil Day, you can do the same - leading a team of collectors, connecting with your community, and making a real difference for those impacted by cancer.

Volunteer as an Area Coordinator and step into a role that’s both rewarding and impactful.

To apply, email Sudha at [email protected] or call 027 302 8581.
