🚧 May Road Booster Pump Station – investigation works

Watercare is carrying out short-term investigation works on May Road to support planning and design for infrastructure improvements.

From Friday, 12 June for approximately 4 days, 10am – 3pm daily

Traffic changes: Days 1–2
• Northbound lane closure on May Road
• Restricted turns to and from Glynn Street
• 119A driveway: left-in / left-out only

Days 3–4
• Bus lane closure during work hours

Public transport:
• Nearby bus stop temporarily relocated closer to 111 May Road
• Traffic staff on site to assist passengers

Access and parking:
• Some on-street parking will be temporarily restricted
• Pedestrian access maintained, with possible short waits or detours

BYO kite or enjoy the display ones soaring high 🌬️

📍Join us on Sunday 12 July at Puketāpapa / Mount Roskill Summit

Enjoy games, workshops and activities and bring your own kite to fly or watch some of the large-scale kites on display.

Te Pūtea Whakangao Whakaurunga Tākaro me Ngā Mahi ā Te Rehia Sport and Recreation Facilities Investment Fund is open.

Do you have a sport or recreation facility project that could help get more Aucklanders active?

This fund supports the development of community sport and recreation facilities across Tāmaki Makaurau.

Funding can support:
✅New sport and recreation facilities
✅Facility renewals and upgrades
✅Projects that respond to changing community needs

Key dates:
Applications close: 19 June 2026, with funding decisions announced in December 2026

Before applying, organisations are encouraged to read the investment fund guidelines to understand eligibility requirements, funding criteria, the application process, and accountability requirements.

🚧 Watermain upgrades for Revel Avenue

Watercare is replacing watermains along Revel Ave, Mount Roskill.

Key details:
• Start date: June 3rd, 2026.
• Duration: 8–10 weeks (weather permitting).
• Day hours: 7am – 5pm.
• Night hours: 2-4 nights of work (8pm – 5am)

During this time there will be minor traffic delays, standard daytime construction noise, and short, planned water shutdowns during the scheduled night shifts.
