✨ Matariki 2026 is here! ✨
Join communities across Kaipātiki as we come together to celebrate Matariki with a diverse programme of events, activities, arts, markets, workshops and cultural experiences taking place from 20 June to 25 July.
From community kai and kapa haka to dawn celebrations, family activities, art exhibitions and twilight markets, there are plenty of opportunities to reflect, connect and celebrate the Māori New Year.
These celebrations help bring our communities together, supporting the Kaipātiki Local Board's commitment to connected, vibrant and inclusive neighbourhoods.
