📢 Changes are coming to the Sports Anti-Doping Rules – and we need your feedback.

Consultation on the 2027 Sports Anti-Doping Rules is now open.

Anti-doping rules help keep sport fair, protect athlete health and build trust in competition. With major global changes coming in 2027, your feedback will help make sure the rules work for Aotearoa New Zealand.

Today we officially welcomed Lisa Tai, our newest board member, to the Commission with a mihi whakatau.

Lisa brings a wealth of expertise to the board, including leadership roles at Ronald McDonald House, Pasifika Medical Association Group and Deloitte, and governance experience with The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ and AUT’s Business Advisory Group. She also founded Deloitte’s Pacific Services Group (Pas Peau), partnering with Pacific communities to build governance capability and leadership.

Her Rotuman and Fijian heritage, combined with her professional focus on Pacific matters, strengthens the Pacific leadership perspective on our Board.

We’re acknowledging Gasav Ne Fäeag Rotuạm Ta - Rotuma Language Week – 2026’s first Pacific Language Week! 🙌

This year’s theme is "Ȧf'ȧk, putua, a'pumuạ'ȧk ma rak'ȧk 'os fäega ma 'os ag fak Rotuma, la se maoen 'e 'os tore - Treasure, nurture and teach our Rotuman language and culture so it may live on through generations”.
