It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum,

Paretiare Talagi (née Mokoroa Teeiao Kauvai), who passed away Sunday 7th of June.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her... Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”

— Proverbs 31:28–29

A devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and treasured member of our family, she touched the lives of many with her love, strength, kindness, and unwavering faith.

We kindly ask for your patience, understanding, and prayers as we navigate the coming days and make arrangements to celebrate and honour Mum's life. Funeral service details will be confirmed and shared in due course.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather:

Gatoloai "Tau" Afetau Taufelila🕊️
who passed away peacefully on 30/05/2026, surrounded by his beloved wife - Mrs Sifahega Taufelila and cherished family members.

While our hearts are deeply saddened by this loss, we take comfort in the love, memories and legacy he leaves behind. We honour an extraordinary man whose life was a radiant example of devotion to our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We sincerely thank everyone for the prayers, messages, love and support shown to our family during this difficult time.

Ioane Simiona Hewett, AKA Vane/Vani, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Sunday 24 May 2026, aged 69.

Precious son of the late Tapere-Ariki Hewett (nee Tepaki) and the late John Hewett,
Beloved husband to Liline Tagaloa,
Cherished Dad to Ben, Kerisome and Liline Tanita Sina,
Bestest Papa to Ryu Harry and Ani Liline, and
Loving Brother, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.

We appreciate your patience at this time as the family grieves privately and makes arrangements. We kindly request no visitors during this period and appreciate your understanding.

Our family announces with great sorrow the passing of our beloved
John Tongalea aka “Lucky”
who peacefully passed on 12 May 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones.

He will always be remembered for his love for his family, generosity, kindness, strength, humour, laughter and his great passion for Rugby union - The All Blacks and his beloved Rugby League team Melbourne Storm all of which brought him so much joy and sometimes even tears throughout his life.

We sincerely thank everyone for your prayers, support, food, visits, and messages during this difficult time.

Losa will be lying in state until her burial at 14 Mohua Ave, Takanini (Look for the Niuean Flag).

She will arrive home today 4pm if you wish to be there.

It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunty, cousin & niece and the beautiful matriarch of our Nosa family.

🕊️ Losasa Nosa 02/05/1957 – 11/05/2026

Our beautiful mum and nanny was a strong woman of God who fought until the very end. She is now resting peacefully in God’s glorious kingdom, surrounded by His love and grace.

We kindly ask that you respect our family’s privacy during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
