साम्यवाद एउटा सामाजिक-आर्थिक संरचना एवं राजनैतिक विचारधारा हो। साम्यवादी व्यवस्थामा समतावादी, वर्गविहीन समाजको स्थापना गरिन्छ। यस व्यवस्थामा सबै उत्पादनका साधन एवं सम्पत्तिमा सम्पूर्ण समाजको स्वामित्व हुन्छ। साम्यवाद, समाजवादको एउटा शाखा मानिन्छ। साम्यवादमा कुनै पनि सम्पतिमा कसैको पनि ब्यक्तिगत स्वामित्व हुन्न तर उसले आफ्नो आवस्यकता अनुसार भोगचलन गर्न भने पाउँछ।
