Mahakavi Devkota Campus It is a non profit community college in sunwal. Mahakavi devkota Campus (MDC) is a community owned ,non- profit making renownad educational intitution.

It is located in Sunwal Municipality ward no. 4, recently announced municipality by the Goverment of Nepal. So, it is in semi-urban area which is 10 km. north from district headquarter (parasi) of Nawalparasi. MDC was established in 2060 B.S. with tireless effort and dedication of local academicians, enterpreneurs, business tycons, political leaders, Social works and different leading figures of t

his community in order to cater the need of higher education of the students of this municipality and the adjoining municipalities and VDCs. So, the students of indigenous, socially marginalised and educationally backward communities are the prime target of this college. Three municipalities and fifteen VDCs of home district and a municipality and around two VDCs of adjoining district largely constitute its catchment area of MDC. It is offering solely Bachelor level affiliated to T.U. in three faculties viz: Education, Management, and Humanities, Formerly it only offered Humanities faculty with English, Nepali and Population subjects in 2060. Immediately in the following year 2061, it also offered Management stream with the subjects : Account, Finance and marketing . MDC is running its classes by using latest technology available in market. It has rich library with free wifi zone. It is effortfull to narrow down the gap between theoritical and practical knowledge in order to produce sellable products in the market. Internship, field work, project work, seminar etc.are running for overall development of the students.
