Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave was discovered in 1950, however, the entrance of the cave was built recently in 1991. Within the dark cave they discovered many shrines and statues dedicated to Shiva and other Hindu deities. The waterfall at the end of the cave is the wow factor you can experience in this day tour. This is considered the longest cave( 2950) of Nepal.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave carries the historical importance where Lord Shiva is being worshipped by the pilgrims. There are gods like Lord Shiva, Parvati, Saraswati, and Nageshwor. Inside the cave, there is a Shiva Temple where taking is the picture is strictly prohibited and it’s been monitored by security guards. The attraction of this cave is one of the biggest Shiva Lingawhere devotees pay homage to Lord Shiva.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is worth a quick visit. It is a developing sight where the proceeds are sent to a local school, University, Old-age Home, Sanskrit Gurukul and into funding the immediate area around the cave. This underground temple remain busy with domestic and international tourist 365 days a year.
