It was a pleasure to attend the opening ceremony of the 23rd Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) and watch the Nepal premiere of *Shape of Momo*. The film powerfully reflects the emotional and cultural realities of Himalayan life, along with the balance between tradition and personal freedom.
I sincerely appreciate the KIMFF team for creating such an important platform that promotes cinema, culture, mountain heritage, and global dialogue. Festivals like KIMFF help showcase Nepal’s stories, creativity, and identity to the world.
I also enjoyed staying through the ceremony and sharing my thoughts with filmmakers, artists, and cinema lovers. I wish this year’s festival great success and hope it continues to support Nepal’s film and tourism sectors through art and cultural exchange.
