The Lumbini Coffee Table Book was officially launched by Hon. Khadak Raj Paudel (Ganess), Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Lumbini Development Trust, in the presence of Secretaries from the Ministry of Tourism, Law and General Administration of the Government of Nepal.
The publication then takes readers through Lumbini’s timeless heritage, beginning with the birth of Prince Siddhartha in 623 BCE and continuing through Emperor Aśoka’s legacy, the site’s archaeological significance, and its UNESCO World Heritage status. It also highlights Lumbini’s biodiversity, conservation initiatives, and Nepal’s Buddhist Circuits connecting sacred heritage sites.
