Charity run supports SSAFA fund
It was a charitable endeavour that the staff and family members at BGN took on to support the SSAFA fund from Nepal. Exercise RUN BGN RUN, a 24-hour walk/run, saw both encouraging and intense involvement of participants and organisers in the event which started from 0900 hrs, 06 June 24. The run concluded with the SSAFA Brew organised by the BGN Wives Club where Colonel Paul Smith, Commander BGN thanked all the participants. The runners covered a noteworthy total distance of 286.83 miles.
SSAFA is the Armed Forces charity supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need, which is close to BGN hearts.
