Bersempena Ramadan dan Syawal yang bakal menjelang, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kathmandu telah mengadakan lawatan ke Penjara Nepal untuk melawat tahanan Malaysia yang telah di tahan atas kesalahan masing-masing. Dalam Lawatan tersebut, Kedutaan telah memberikan bantuan sumbangan keperluan asas kepada tahanan Malaysia yang berada di Nepal. Sumbangan berupa makanan asas seperti beras, tepung, gula, minyak masak, garam, biskut, sabun basuh pakaian dan keperluan mandian telah diberikan kepada tahanan Malaysia di penjara Nepal sebagai tanda keprihatinan Kerajaan Malaysia terhadap rakyatnya yang berada di dalam tahanan berkenaan. Sumbangan ini telah diserahkan kepada semua tahanan yang terlibat pada 11 Mac 2026 (Rabu).

In conjunction with the Ramadan and upcoming Syawal, the Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu has visited the Nepal Prison to visit Malaysian prisoners who have been detained for their respective offenses. During the visit, the Embassy has provided basic needs assistance to Malaysian prisoners in Nepal. Donations in the form of basic food such as rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, salt, biscuits, laundry soap and bathing necessities have been given to Malaysian prisoners in Nepal prisons as a sign of the Malaysian Government's concern for its citizens who are in detention. This contribution was handed over to all prisoners involved on 11 March 2026 (Wednesday).

Bersempena sambutan Nuzul Al-Quran pada 17 Ramadan 1447 H bersamaan 7 Mac 2026 M, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kathmandu bersama PERWAKILAN Kathmandu telah mengadakan Majlis Bacaan Surah Yaasin dan Berbuka Puasa (Iftar). Majlis telah dihadiri oleh rakyat Malaysia yang berada di Kathmandu, rakan-rakan diplomat dan keluarga Kedutaan. Usai berbuka, semua hadirin telah menunaikan solat Maghrib secara berjemaah.
