Established in the year 2004 A.D. by young volunteers it works for environmental sustainability and youth engagement in Nepal. With a cohort of dedicated youth it aims to raise awareness and promote practices to conserve and optimize environmental resources. To do so, it carries out activities led and managed by youth. Yatra identifies youth as a person in between age 16-29 years. The organization
is run by team of young and resourceful executive members who are committed towards the organizational goals. It welcomes youth from all backgrounds and encourages them to express their creativity in exploring, appreciating and acting for the prosperity of people, culture and nature. By providing a platform to implement creative concepts youths understand the importance of conservation and realize the necessity of harmonious co-existence. It encourages civic participation in conservation and helps to instill its values in our cultural practices.
