One man’s trash can be another man’s treasure.

Women Commission is a one stop free service center run by the Government against gender based violence which provides psychological, legal and police support. With the growing gender based crimes, the society has become risky. Let us aware our friends and family about this service that may help a gender based violence victim.

We feel privileged to be able to mobilise the fund donated by Higher Grounds Nepal to support 25 families of children of Shanti Rani Pathsala, Godavari and handover the box packed food items with use of plastic-free bags to Sr. Carmela Rai.

हायर ग्राउन्ड नेपालद्वारा शान्ति रानी पाठशालाका पच्चीस बालबालिकाहरुको परिवारको लागि प्रदान गरिएको अनुदान रकम परिचालन गर्न पाएकोमा हामी, लिड फर नेपाल हर्षित छौ। उक्त परिचालित रकमबाट पच्चीस परिवारलाई सहयोगार्थ बक्समा प्याक गरिएको खाद्यान्न वस्तु आदरणीय सिस्टर कार्मेला राईलाई हस्तान्तरण गर्न पाउँदा अशिसित महशुस गरेका छौ ।

Each box consists of following item:
5 kg Rice
2 kg Daal
1 kg Beans
1 lt Oil
400gm Soyabean
1 pkt Salt
1 pc Soap

प्रत्येक बक्समा निम्न वस्तुहरू छन् :
५ किलो चामल
२ किलो दाल
१ किलो गेडागुडी
१ लिटर तेल
४०० ग्राम सोयाबीन
१ प्याकेट नुन
एउटा साबुन

We conducted our food bank successfully with all possible safety measures today @ Phulchowki School, Thaiba. We could only give food to 100 people due to our limited resources. However, we had to send away more than 200 people empty handed with bitter hearts. We are looking forward to give aid to more people soon if we can manage the resources.

सम्पूर्ण सुरक्षाका उपायहरु अबलम्बन गर्दै, हामी ( लिड फर नेपाल )ले आज फुलचौकी स्कूल ठैबमा फुड बैंक सफलतापूर्वक संचालन गर्‍यौं। सीमित स्रोतसाधनका कारण हामीले मात्र १०० जनालाई खाद्यान्न वितरण गर्न सक्यौं। यद्यपि हामीले गर्हौ हृदय लिएर २०० भन्दा बढी मानिसहरूलाई खाली हात पठाउन बाद्य भयौ।
यस अप्ठ्यारो समयमा, हजुरहरु सम्पूर्ण संग हातेमालो गर्दै थप स्रोतहरु संकलन गर्दै, हामी धेरै भन्दा धेरै खाँचोमा परेकाहरुलाई सहयोग गर्न सक्छौ भन्ने बिस्वाश गर्दछौ। तपाईहरुको साथ र हाम्रो प्रतिबद्धताले खाँचोमा परेकाहरुको ओठमा मुस्कान ल्याउन अवस्य सफल हुनेछौ।

वार्ड न १४ र झी: बर्यमी पुचको सहकार्यमा, हामी (लिड फर नेपाल ) ले गोदावरी नगरपालिका, ठैब अवस्थित फुलचोकी स्कुलमा फुड बैंकको सुरुवात गर्दैछौ। हजुरहरु सम्पूर्णलाई यस शुभकार्यमा हातेमालो गर्दै खाँचोमा परेकाहरुलाई सहयोगको लागि योगदान दिन हुन अनुरोध गर्दछौ।

It gives us immense pleasure to handover the funds raised through webinar to Shanti Rani Pathsala, a school run by clunny nuns to help the underprivileged children. We are very thankful to each one who helped us make this event a success. Also, thank you Sister Carmela Rai, Principal of SRP for giving us this opportunity to serve.
