π³π΅πΏβ¨ ECHOES OF NATURE β International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest 2025 β¨πΏ
This scape is very personal to me. Growing up in Nepal, I was always surrounded by hills, rivers, and greenery, and those images never left me. I wanted to bring that beauty underwater. At the same time, I was deeply inspired by the works of Galarraga. His Brazilian style has an expressive hardscapes, vibrant plant masses, and an organic, immersive flow β traits that I tried to reflect in Echoes of Nature. His focus on depth, balance, and layering became a powerful guide for me, and I attempted to translate that harmony in my own way.
For me, aquascaping is not only about arranging plants and rocks β itβs about telling a story, building a path both for the eyes and for the heart. Echoes of Nature is that story: a reminder that even in complexity, there is calm.
I feel truly honored that this work reached World Rank #141 in IAPLC 2025. Itβs not just about the number β itβs about sharing a little piece of nature, inspired by my Nepal's nature and by those who lit the path for me, with people all around the world. ππ
I am especially grateful to Dr. Santosh Shakya for trusting me with this scape and allowing me to bring vision to life. Without his support, this dream would not have been possible. π
