Visa Information for Nepalese Citizens Traveling to Georgia

Nepalese citizens wishing to travel to Georgia are required to obtain a visa only through VFS Global, located at Chaya Center, Thamel, Kathmandu.
Please note the following details regarding the visa application process:
Visa Fees and Processing Time
• Visa application fee: USD 20
• VFS service charge: NPR 6307 per applicant
• Processing time approximately 15-20 working days

Appointments
• No prior appointment required
• Applicants may visit the VFS office Monday to Friday during working hours

Representation
• Applicants residing outside the Kathmandu Valley may authorize a representative to submit the application on their behalf.

Applicants must first register their application online via the official website:

Step 2 – Document Submission
After completing online registration, applicants must submit the printed application form along with all required documents (as per the prescribed checklist) at the VFS Global office (https://visa.vfsglobal.com/npl/en/geo/)

2025 წლის 30 აპრილს, ნეპალის დედაქალაქ კატმანდუში, საქართველოს ელჩმა, ვახტანგ ჯაოშვილმა (რეზიდენციით ქ. ნიუ- დელი ) რწმუნებათა სიგელი გადასცა ნეპალის პრეზიდენტს, რამჩანდრა პაუდელს.

ცერემონიის შემდეგ გამართულ შეხვედრაზე პრეზიდენტმა პაუდელმა მიულოცა ელჩს პოზიციაზე დანიშვნა და განსაკუთრებით აღნიშნა ნეპალისა და საქართველოს ურთიერთობათა შემდგომი განვითარებისა და გაღრმავების მნიშვნელობა.

ელჩმა მადლობა გადაუხადა პრეზიდენტს საქართველოს სუვერენიტეტისა და ტერიტორიული მთლიანობის მტკიცე მხარდაჭერისთვის და დაადასტურა მზადყოფნა ხელი შეუწყოს ორ ქვეყანას შორის თანამშრომლობის გაღრმავებას, განსაკუთრებით, ვაჭრობის, ტურიზმის, განათლებისა და კულტურის სფეროებში.

პრეზიდენტმა პაუდელმა წარმატებები უსურვა ელჩს მომავალ საქმიანობაში და დაადასტურა ნეპალის მზადყოფნა განაგრძოს თანამშრომლობა საქართველოსთან.

Ambassador of Georgia Vakhtang Jaoshvili Presents Credentials to the President of Nepal

On April 30, 2025, in Kathmandu, Nepal, Ambassador of Georgia Vakhtang Jaoshvili (with residence in India) presented his credentials to the Right Honourable President of Nepal, Mr. Ramchandra Paudel.

At a meeting held after the ceremony, President Paudel congratulated the Ambassador on his official appointment and emphasized the importance of further developing and deepening existing relations between Nepal and Georgia.
The Georgian Ambassador thanked the President for his strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting stronger cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade, tourism, education and culture. Vakhtang Jaoshvili also expressed hope that high-level visits will take place in the near future, which will further strengthen bilateral relations. President Paudel wished Ambassador Vakhtang Jaoshvili success in his future endeavors and confirmed Nepal's willingness to continue cooperation with friendly Georgia.

2024 წლის 27 მარტს, საქართველოს საგანგებო და სრულუფლებიანმა ელჩმა ინდოეთის რესპუბლიკაში, ვახტანგ ჯაოშვილმა რწმუნებათა სიგელი გადასცა ინდოეთის რესპუბლიკის პრეზიდენტს, დრუპადი მურმუს.

საზეიმო ცერემონიის დასრულების შემდეგ გამართული შეხვედრისას პრეზიდენტმა მაღალი შეფასება მისცა ინდოეთისა და საქართველოს ურთიერთობებს, ხაზი გაუსვა პოლიტიკური და ეკონომიკური კავშირების ინტენსიფიკაციის მნიშვნელობას.

On March 27, 2024, Ambassador of Georgia Vakhtang Jaoshvili presented to Her Excellency Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of the Republic of India, the ‘Letter of Credence’.

During the meeting held after the ceremony, the President highly evaluated the assessment of relations between India and Georgia, and highlighted the importance of intensifying political and economic ties.

The Ambassador of Georgia expressed gratitude for the support for the territorial integrity of Georgia, welcomed the decision of the Government of the Republic of India to open an Embassy in Tbilisi and expressed hope that this step will contribute to the further development of a mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The ambassador also emphasized the importance of high-level visits.

President Droupadi Murmus wished Vakhtang Jaoshvili every success in his future endeavours.
