चुलो निम्तो to all curious minds, individuals, and changemakers for an open conversation on a topic we rarely talk about enough ; Menopause.

📅 Date: Jestha 29, 2083 ⏰ Time: 2 PM – 4 PM

This , we’re proud to launch a special jingle that celebrates menstruation with openness, dignity, and pride.

While the song mostly mentions women and girls, reflecting the experiences of many who menstruate, we also want to acknowledge that not all women menstruate, and not everyone who menstruates is a woman. Trans men and non-binary individuals menstruate too, and they deserve equal respect, visibility, and access to menstrual health support. ❤️

Let’s continue building conversations that are inclusive, stigma-free, and rooted in empathy for everyone who experiences periods....and please look forward to our dance challenge on this jingle.

केही heroes cape लगाउँदैनन्- some sit, listen, and show up for others. 💜

In Hetauda, a powerful wave of youth-led change is taking shape.

SOCHAI, in collaboration with Yale University, Dhulikhel Hospital, and Mankaa Kura, successfully conducted a 5-day Peer Volunteers Training under the project “Youth focused, Peer delivered, Family engaged Su***de Prevention Package (YPF-SuPP)” in Makwanpur (April 20–24).

A group of 16 peer volunteers from different wards came together with curiosity, courage, and commitment. Throughout the training, they built their capacity on key areas such as volunteerism, behavioral change communication, mental health, grounding techniques, anxiety management, and the importance of youth as role models and peer supporters.

Each day, the room was filled with energy, reflection, learning, and genuine connection. What stood out the most was their willingness to grow—not just for themselves, but for their communities.

Because sometimes, the most powerful support comes from someone who simply says, “I understand. I’m here.” ✨
