Community-based Forestry Supporters' Network, Nepal Its fundamental notion is to enhance Community Based Forestry Program by exchanging experiences of facilitators and by developing their capacity.

Community-based Forestry Supporters Network, Nepal (COFSUN) is an independent, non-governmental, non-political, non-communal and non-profitable organization established by the initiation of 251 forest based facilitators from 51 Districts in 2004. COFSUN, Nepal is indeed a common forum for facilitators from government and non-state sectors who work at local level. Till the date more than 1700 membe

rs from 72 Districts (including government employees and non-state professionals) are affiliated with this network. Upon its 17 years of journey in the community forestry movement, it has already established 36 District branches.
