One of the Hindu temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital of Kerala, India. The temple is built in an intricate fusion of the Chera style of architecture, featuring high walls, and a 16th-century gopura.While the Ananthapura temple in Kumbla in Kasaragod is considered as the original seat of the deity ("Moolasthanam"), architecturally to some extent, the temple is a replica of the Adikesava Perumal temple in Thiruvattar.It is believed that Parasurama purified and venerated the idol of Sree Padmanabhaswamy in Dvapara Yuga.The name of the city of 'Thiruvananthapuram' in Malayalam translates to "The City of Lord Ananta", (The City Of Lord Vishnu) referring to the deity of the Padmanabhaswamy temple.

(oldest temple of nepal) is located on a high hilltop that is also known as Changu or Dolagiri. The temple was surrounded by champak tree forest and a small village known as Changu. The temple is located in Changunarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur District, Nepal. The Manohara River flows beside the hill. This shrine is dedicated to lord Visnu and held in special reverence by the Hindu people. This temple is considered to be the oldest temple in the history of Nepal. The Kashmiri king gave his daughter, Champak, in marriage to the prince of Bhaktapur. Changu Narayan Temple is named after her.The idol of this temple is great representer of the art and culture of nepal. The idols of this temple is made by stone carving. It represent the beauty of our culture and our country.
