Abishek Chaudhary was just going on a ride with his friend when they got into an accident. He suffered sever injuries and was rushed to the B&C Hospital in Jhapa, his friend was not lucky enough to survive.
We came to know of Abishek and his family's struggle to come up with funds for treatment. So, Sano Sahayog decided to help with Rs. 50,000 for his treatment and recovery. While that sum itself won't be enough, we are pleased to convey the message that he is doing well now.
A tractor driver by profession, Abishek still has a long way to go on his road to recovery. If someone would like to offer some help then feel free to contact us and we will provide you with the contact details.

Few months back we were approached by the family of Yubaraj Khadka seeking help for his battle against Retinoblastoma. We assisted the family with some of their medical expenses. More recently we were approached again as the cost of injection required for the little boy was something they were not able to afford.

So, we decided to partially cover the cost of injections to the sum of Rs. 30,000. That will be enough for a total of 4 doses. That however will not be enough to make sure Yubaraj has a full recover.

In order to facilitate his recovery the family is seeking extra funds. They are in dire circumstance, taking care of a sick child while dealing with the ever rising costs of living. So, if you have some extra funds to spare, a little boy and his family would greatly appreciate it.

Patigya Gadal is a teenager who ought to be doing teenage things, going to class, worrying about homework, enjoying time with friends. Instead, her life was turned upside down when a diagnosis confirmed she had blood cancer.

With financial difficulty apparent our help was request and Sano Sahayog provided an assistance of Rs. 60,000. Still, hospital visits, stay and proper medical care will require an assistance far greater for a single mother of three. Working whatever jobs she could find, Pratigya's mother raised 3 daughters and she is still going strong. But this road is a difficult one for her to travel alone.

So, this is a plea to all who have the means to assist a family in need. Give what you can and help provide Pratigya a second shot at a normal life.

For the month of December we did things slightly not in the normal way. Continuing our work Sano Sahayog donated Rs. 65,000. The recipient, however, we have decided not to name, they will remain anonymous.

The reason for this is the circumstance at which we came to know of the recipient. They are currently engaged in a legal battle with a foreign entity and we thought it would not be prudent for us to cause any harm by naming the recipient. While the family did give us permission to use photos and names, legal matters can be tricky and we want the family to come out at the end of all this with at least some success.

At this moment in time we cannot help but be vague in this matter. Maybe down the line in a few months we will be able to go in further details but for now all we are doing is praying for the success of the family and their good health.
