Janakpurdham : The Birth Place Of Maa Sita - जानकी मन्दिर The Janaki Mandir temple is in the centre of Janakpur, northwest of the bazaar.

It is one of the biggest temples in Nepal and was built in 1898 (1955 B.S) by Queen Brisabhanu Kunwar of Tikamgarh.
