With profound grief and unshakable anger, we mourn the loss of our fellow students , the brave youths who dared to raise their voices against corruption and injustice, yet were silenced forever. They did not carry weapons; they carried dreams. They did not raise violence; they raised hope. And for that, they were shot.
We ask ,where is democracy when the cries of students for justice are answered with bullets? Where is humanity when the future of a nation is buried under blood-soaked soil? Where are the leaders who swore to protect the people, when the protectors turn into silencers?
Our fellow students stood on the frontlines not for themselves, but for all of us. They fought with courage, demanding fairness, accountability, and dignity. But instead of answers, they received death. Instead of change, they were met with cruelty. Instead of being respected as the voice of the nation, they were reduced to lifeless bodies carried away from the streets.
Is this what democracy looks like? Is this the freedom we were promised? If raising a question is a crime, if demanding justice is treason, then what meaning does democracy hold anymore?
To the grieving families ,your pain is our pain. Your loss is a wound in the heart of this nation. No words can heal the emptiness, but we promise: their courage will not be forgotten, their dreams will not be buried, and their sacrifice will not be in vain.
We cry with sorrow, but we also rise with rage. Their blood has written a question that history will not erase: Where is democracy when its children are killed for speaking the truth?
May their souls rest in peace, and may their voices echo forever through us until justice is not just a word, but a reality.
