However, Consular Services are rendered only during 0900 - 1230 hours (acceptance of applications for OCI card, PIO card, Passport and Consular Documents) and 1530 - 1630 hours (issue of OCI card, PIO card, Passport and Consular Documents). Other than street parking, there are two parking slots reserved for visitors to Embassy, on a first-come-first-served basis, for which Temporary Parking Permit may be obtained from Reception for display on Car Wind Shield.

H.E. Ms. Gloria Gangte, Ambassador of India to Norway received H.E. Mr. Högni Kristjánsson, Ambassador of Iceland to Norway at the Indian Embassy on 29 May 2025.

The Ambassadors noted the successful conclusion of the India-Nordic summit last week. They also expressed happiness that both Prime Ministers of India and Iceland had the opportunity to meet and discuss matters of mutual interest on the sidelines of the summit.

Ambassador H.E. Ms Gloria Gangte met IndoNord team on May 26, 2026. With members and volunteers representing different backgrounds and regions of India, IndoNord provides a vibrant platform that strengthens cultural bonds and fosters a sense of togetherness within the India diaspora.

IndoNord team shared their vision and preparations for Oslo Colour Festival 2026 and formally invited the Ambassador to grace the occasion. Oslo color festival celebrates India’s rich cultural diversity and has become an annual feature in the cultural calendar of Norway. It brings together several Indian communities and local Norwegians through vibrant colors, food and music.
