Welcome to Oslo Hiking and Outdoors!

This is a page founded on the group Oslo Hiking and Outdoors which is a group for you whom enjoy environmental friendly adventures in the great outdoors of Oslo and surrounding areas. We promote the pleasure and fun of friluftsliv.

Oslo is a fortunate city with opportunities for great variation of outdoors activities. It is surrounded by wooded hills and lies by the fjord With long coastalline. The forest called Oslomarka offers unprecedented possibilities for trekking on foot, kanoing in the lakes of the forest, cycling on forest gravel roads, skiing in the winter both nordic as well as downhills, horseriding and so much more. The wonderful Oslo Fjord provides hiking opportunities along our beautiful coast or at sea in the fjord in a kayak or adventure with ferry to some of the Oslofjord's idyllic islands.

Here you can get tips and inspiration for outdoor activities as well as share your own adventures. Please feel free to share inspirational outdoor nature photos or adventure experiences may they be small or big.
