Come experience one of the most promising young string quartets on the international scene right here in Oslo! 🎻
On 30 September, string quartet Animato Kwartet will open the 2025-2026 season of the Oslo Quartet Series with their interpretation of Beethoven’s Op. 18 Nr. 2, Bartók’s third string quartet, and the first and only string quartet by Swedish composer Amanda Röntgen-Maier. Based in the Netherlands, the quartet consists of Inga Våga Gaustad from Norway, and Tim Brackman, Elisa Karen Tavenier, and Pieter de Koe from the Netherlands. As such, Animato Kwartet is a true example of Dutch-Norwegian artistic collaborative success, and Ambassador Ines Coppoolse looks forward to opening their concert on 30 September.
The concert starts at 19:00 hrs, but it will be possible for those interested to enter the venue at 18:25 and listen in on a pre-concert talk.
