Urban_Art_Walk er et formidlingstilbud som omfatter byrommet og kunst i det offentlige rom. Graffiti er like gammel som et menneske: du kan finne den på antikke ruiner. Veggdekorasjon har vært både i Middelalderen og Renessansen - på oppdrag av kirken. Street art som vi ser den nå utviklet seg i USA på 1960-tallet. Vi er kunsthistorikere og kunstnere som har jobbet med formidling i flere år.

Vi har deltatt på National Art Education Association's Convention i USA og tenker nytt om kunstformidling og setter kunst i Oslo i en internasjonal kontekst. Vi mener at den beste måten å oppleve byen på er å spasere gatelangs, komme innom spennende og ukjente kroker. Målet vårt er ikke å bare underholde, men å dele vår kompetanse og gjenskape en historie i dialog med deg. Turene er tips-baserte. We are young , creative and knowlegdeable guides with Masters from the University of Oslo who share the passion to our fantastic town to you. Where to find the street art treasures in Oslo? What is the name of the club with authentic equipment from the Abbey Road studio where the Beatles and Pink Floyd recorded their music? What is the name of the restaurant Patti Smith dines every time she is in Oslo? Oslo's past is captivating - but unlike many other offers, our tours are also about the nowadays Oslo and its future, with its vital musical and contemporary art scene. Do you know that in 2011 there were arranged almost 4000 concerts in Oslo - more than in Stockholm and Copenhagen? We will be happy to share our knowledge about art in public space, street art, artist-run galleries and underground music scene in Oslo. The tour is tips-based. Suksess og superbra oppmøte på gatekunstvandring med Viktor Rakov Gjengaar.
Vi i Ø-ZONE har jobbet lenge med formidling av gatekunst i Oslo (Urban Art Walk og Oslo Free Tour), men et slikt oppmøte er det ikke hver dag å se.

Free graffiti workshop in Oslo on February 15-17!

15-17 Februar arrangerer Mamacitas (en organisasjon som jobber med å samle jenter innenfor hiphop-miljøet) graffiti workshop på GSF. De ønsker alle som vil velkommen og tilbyr et tre dagers lynkurs hvor deltakerne får øve seg på å skisse og å spraye. Alt er gratis og utstyr inkludert!!!!
