🇮🇩 Indonesian Cultural Night: Strings of Equator 🇳🇴🎶

KBRI Oslo menggelar Indonesian Cultural Night: “Strings of Equator – A Musical Journey to Indonesia” dalam rangka peringatan HUT ke-81 Kemerdekaan RI di Victoria National Jazz Scene, Oslo.

Dimeriahkan oleh Tantowi Yahya dan Thomshell Band, kegiatan dihadiri sekitar 200 tamu dari Pemerintah Norwegia, korps diplomatik, kalangan bisnis, masyarakat Norwegia, dan diaspora Indonesia.

Melalui musik dari berbagai penjuru Nusantara, para tamu diajak mengenal keragaman budaya Indonesia. Penampilan mendapat sambutan antusias, dengan para undangan turut bernyanyi dan menari bersama.

Kegiatan ini juga menjadi momentum untuk memperkuat hubungan Indonesia–Norwegia melalui diplomasi budaya dan people-to-people contact. 🇮🇩🤝🇳🇴



Indonesian Cultural Night: Strings of Equator 🇮🇩🎶

The Indonesian Embassy in Oslo held “Strings of Equator – A Musical Journey to Indonesia” to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence at Victoria National Jazz Scene.

Featuring Tantowi Yahya and Thomshell Band, the event welcomed around 200 guests from the Norwegian Government, diplomatic corps, business community, Norwegian society, and Indonesian diaspora.

Through music from across the archipelago, guests experienced the diversity of Indonesian culture, with many joining in to sing and dance.

The evening also provided an opportunity to strengthen Indonesia–Norway relations through cultural diplomacy and people-to-people connections. 🇮🇩🤝🇳🇴

During ONS 2026, KBRI Oslo had the opportunity to attend various conference sessions, exhibitions, and networking events covering energy, the energy transition, technology, and innovation.

KBRI Oslo menggelar Indonesian Cultural Night: “Strings of Equator – A Musical Journey to Indonesia” dalam rangka peringatan HUT ke-81 Kemerdekaan RI di Victoria National Jazz Scene, Oslo. Acara dimeriahkan oleh Tantowi Yahya dan Thomshell Band.

Kegiatan dihadiri sekitar 200 tamu dari Pemerintah Norwegia, korps diplomatik, kalangan bisnis, masyarakat Norwegia, dan diaspora Indonesia.

Para tamu memberikan apresiasi positif terhadap penampilan dan keragaman musik Indonesia yang ditampilkan. Sejumlah tamu juga ikut bernyanyi dan menari bersama saat Gemu Fa Mi Re dan Poco-Poco dibawakan. 🎶

Pada 17 Agustus 2026, KBRI Oslo bersama masyarakat Indonesia di Norwegia melaksanakan Upacara Bendera dalam rangka memperingati HUT ke-81 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.

Di tengah hawa dingin Oslo, upacara berlangsung khidmat dan penuh semangat. Meski jatuh pada hari kerja, masyarakat Indonesia tetap antusias hadir dan merayakan kemerdekaan bersama. 🇮🇩

Commemorating Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day in Oslo ❤️🤍

On 17 August 2026, the Indonesian Embassy in Oslo, together with the Indonesian community in Norway, held a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence.

Despite the cold Oslo weather and the ceremony falling on a working day, the Indonesian community gathered with great enthusiasm to celebrate Independence Day together. 🇮🇩
