พิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลสวดพระอภิธรรม เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลและน้อมถวายความอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5

เมื่อวันที่ 30 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวนิธิวดี มานิตกุล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออสโล ได้เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาสในพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลสวดพระอภิธรรม เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลและน้อมถวายความอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5 ณ วัดไทยนอร์เวย์ ราชอาณาจักรนอร์เวย์ โดยมีข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออสโล พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากสมาคมชาวพุทธไทย วัดไทยนอร์เวย์ ชาวนอร์เวย์ และชุมชนไทยในนอร์เวย์ ตลอดจนคณะพระสงฆ์จากวัดไทยนอร์เวย์ และวัดไทยการ์เดอโมน เข้าร่วมพิธีกว่า 50 คน
ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออสโล ประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส ได้จุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย จุดเครื่องทองน้อยหน้าพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์ สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5 จุดเทียนบูชาพระอภิธรรม และนำคณะผู้แทนชาวนอร์เวย์ ร่วมทอดผ้าบังสุกุล อนุโมทนา กรวดน้ำ ร่วมยืนถวายความอาลัยโดยสงบ และร่วมถวายเทียนหน้าพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์ สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5
ภายหลังพิธี เอกอัครราชทูตนิธิวดีฯ ได้กล่าวแสดงความเสียใจอย่างสุดซึ้งต่อชาวนอร์เวย์ที่มาร่วมพิธีในการเสด็จฯ สวรรคตของสมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5 และได้กล่าวว่าเอกอัครราชทูตฯเองได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจากสมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5 ที่พระราชทานพระวโรกาสให้เข้าเฝ้าถวายพระราชสาส์น และทรงมีพระราชปฎิสันฐานเป็นการส่วนพระองค์กับเอกอัครราชทูตเกือบครึ่งชั่วโมงและต่อมา ในการพระราชทานเลี้ยงพระกระยาหารกลางวันแก่เอกอัครราชทูตใหม่ทรงมีพระราชปฎิสันฐานกับเอกอัครราชทูตนิธิวดีฯ ซึ่งนั่งติดกับพระองค์ท่านเกือบหนึ่งชัวโมงครึ่ง จึงซาบซึ้งในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณและได้ตระหนักถึงพระเมตตา และพระอารมณ์ขันเหมือนกับที่ชาวนอร์เวย์รู้สึก นอกจากนั้น ยังมีโอกาสเข้าเฝ้าฯ อีกหลายโอกาส อาทิ งานเลี้ยงพระกระยาหารเย็นพระราชทานแก่คณะทูตานุทูต (Gala dinner)
ต่อมา เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีกับชาวนอร์เวย์ต่อการขึ้นครองราชย์ของสมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีโฮกุนที่ 8 แห่งนอร์เวย์ พร้อมทั้งขอถวายพระพรชัยมงคลและแสดงความปรารถนาดีไปยังประชาชนชาวนอร์เวย์ทุกหมู่เหล่า ท้ายที่สุดนี้ ในช่วงเวลาแห่งความโศกเศร้าอันยิ่งใหญ่นี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอน้อมถวายอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีฮารัลด์ที่ 5 และขอพระองค์ท่านเสด็จฯ สู่สวรรคาลัย
Buddhist Ceremony to Commemorate His Majesty King Harald V
On Sunday, 30 August 2026, Her Excellency Ambassador Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, presided over a Buddhist ceremony at Wat Thai Norway in remembrance of His Majesty King Harald V, who passed away on 28 August 2026.
The ceremony was attended by diplomats and officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, members of the Thai Buddhist Association in Norway, Norwegian nationals, and members of the Thai community in Norway. The religious rites were conducted by Thai Buddhist monks from Wat Thai Norway and Wat Thai Gardermoen.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Nitivadee paid her esteem respects before a portrait of His Majesty King Harald V and led the participants in lighting candles in his memory.
Following the ceremony, Ambassador Nitivadee addressed to the participants of her deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the Norwegian people on the passing of His Majesty King Harald V. She also recalled with profound gratitude her audiences with His Majesty, including the occasions of her presentation of the Letter of Credence to His Majesty in 2024 during which His Majesty had a conversation with her nearly half and hour and a luncheon graciously hosted by His Majesty, during which she had the honour of being seated beside him.
Ambassador Nitivadee also extended her congratulations to the Norwegian people on the accession to the throne of His Majesty King Haakon VIII of Norway and conveyed her best wishes to the Norwegians. Finally, Ambassador Nitivadee paid a last tribute to His Majesty King Harald V to rest in peace.
