All About Expats was pleased to attend a Global Mobility event in Gouda last week 🇳🇱🧡🌎

Representing our organization, Business Developer Zina T participated in a panel discussion where industry professionals exchanged insights on current topics such as Employer of Record (EOR) solutions, payroll with sponsorship opportunities, remote working, and the challenges surrounding international talent mobility.

These discussions closely align with what we focus on every day: supporting organizations in attracting, housing, and successfully relocating international talent.

From immigration and compliance matters to housing and end-to-end relocation support, a successful international placement requires much more than finding the right candidate. A highly skilled migrant is an employee from outside the European Union who comes to the Netherlands to work under specific conditions set by the IND.

To work as a highly skilled migrant, several requirements must be met, including:
🟠 An employment contract with an IND-recognised sponsor;
🟠 Compliance with the applicable salary criterion for highly skilled migrants;
🟠 A valid residence permit with the right to work.

Employers and highly skilled migrants often do not know exactly where to start. This can include questions about salary requirements, permits, contracts or recognised sponsorship.

The MVV issue form at Dutch embassies has officially been 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱.

As of 𝟭 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, all MVV applications can be completed 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽.

👉 Less paperwork
👉 Fewer steps at the embassy
👉 Smoother application process
