Conmemoración del 5534 año nuevo Andino Amazónico Chaqueño del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, en Ámsterdam.

Hoy 21 de junio celebramos 5534 años de tradición milenaria, desde el Altiplano, el Chaco hasta la Amazonía, una misma luz une nuestras historias, saberes y raíces bajo un mismo sol.

La Asamblea de Naciones Unidas proclama el 21 de junio como el día internacional de la celebración del solsticio mediante resolución A/RES/73/300, propuesta por el Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia.

En Bolivia, en virtud de la Ley 274 y D.S. 0173 se conmemora como wilkakuti, retorno del sol, en la región andina y Lucero del Alba en las tierras bajas.

La Embajada de Bolivia en Países Bajos, en colaboración con ILM, difundió la festividad en Amsterdam, junto con difusión de otras culturas como la mapuche, a mas de 30 personas, en el cual se explicó la conmemoración, mostrando la challa y la música de la fecha, difundiendo así nuestras tradiciones milenarias y de nuestros pueblos indígenas origianarios.

Commemoration of the 5534th Andean-Amazonian-Chaco New Year of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, in Amsterdam.

Today, 21 June, we celebrate 5534 years of ancient tradition, from the Altiplano and the Chaco to the Amazon; a single light unites our histories, knowledge and roots under one sun.

The United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed 21 June as the International Day of the Solstice through Resolution A/RES/73/300, proposed by the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

In Bolivia, pursuant to Law 274 and Supreme Decree 0173, it is commemorated as ‘wilkakuti’ (the return of the sun) in the Andean region and as ‘Lucero del Alba’ (Morning Star) in the lowlands.

The Bolivian Embassy in the Netherlands, in collaboration with ILM, organised an event in Amsterdam to raise awareness of the festival, alongside other cultures such as the Mapuche, attended by over 30 people. The event explained the significance of the commemoration, showcasing the challa and the music associated with the occasion, thereby promoting our ancient traditions and those of our indigenous peoples.

La defensa de la democracia, la protección de la población y la preservación de la paz social constituyen responsabilidades irrenunciables del Estado.

Las medidas excepcionales adoptadas por el Gobierno Nacional tienen carácter temporal, se desarrollan en apego a la Constitución Política del Estado y buscan restablecer las condiciones necesarias para garantizar el abastecimiento, la libre circulación, el funcionamiento de los servicios esenciales y el ejercicio pleno de los derechos de todas y todos los bolivianos.

Bolivia reafirma ante la comunidad internacional su compromiso con la democracia, los derechos humanos, el diálogo y la solución pacífica de las diferencias.

Ballet Folklórico De La Paz - Bafopaz en el Festival Internacional de Danza y Música Op Roakeldais Warffum, en Países Bajos.

La Embajada de Bolivia en los Países Bajos, se complace en anunciar la participación del Ballet Folclórico de La Paz en el festival Op Roakeldais.

BAFOPAZ ha sido seleccionado de 400 postulaciones internacionales, para participar en el festival el 2026, con danzas de origen 100% boliviano, que se llevará a cabo del 24 al 28 de junio de 2026.

BAFOPAZ, el Ballet Folklórico de La Paz, llega a Warffum con lo mejor del repertorio del foklore Boliviano.

La Paz Folk Ballet – Bafopaz at the Op Roakeldais Warffum International Dance and Music Festival in the Netherlands.

The Embassy of Bolivia in the Netherlands is pleased to announce the participation of the La Paz Folk Ballet in the Op Roakeldais festival.

BAFOPAZ has been selected from 400 international applications to take part in the festival in 2026, performing dances of 100% Bolivian origin, which will take place from 24 to 28 June 2026.

BAFOPAZ, the La Paz Folk Ballet, is coming to Warffum with the very best of the Bolivian folk repertoire.
