Yesterday Ambassador Teesalu visited the opening ceremony of a new production line of Milrem Robotics, a defense company with Estonian roots which is currently active all over the world.

Milrem Robotics, a global leader in robotics and autonomous systems, together with Dutch company VDL Defentec, has officially launched a production line for THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in Born, the Netherlands. At the opening event, the first THeMIS vehicles produced in the Netherlands were transferred to the Dutch government, which will send them on to Ukraine.

The new production line was created to support the Netherlands-funded supply of more than 100 THeMIS UGVs to Ukraine. Deliveries are being managed by Milrem Robotics’ Dutch subsidiary in partnership with VDL Defentec.

Milrem Robotics develops robotics and autonomous systems worldwide, with offices in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates.

Helga Meritsa dokumentaalfilm "Seabrooki farmi paradoks" linastub taas Amsterdamis!

Helga Merits jätkab „Seabrook Farms’i paradoksiga“ jutustust Eesti põgenike saatusest Teise maailmasõja keerises. Film jutustab karmist tööst Seabrook Farmsis, mille multikultuurse töötajaskonna hulka kuulus 1950. aastatel ka palju eestlasi.

Helga Meritsa's documentary "The Seabrook Farm Paradox" will be screened again in Amsterdam!

Helga Merits continues her story of the fate of Estonian refugees in the midst of World War II with “The Seabrook Farm Paradox.” The film tells the story of the hard work at Seabrook Farms, which multicultural workforce included many Estonians in the 1950s.

A great opportunity to watch in Amsterdam, on June 14th!

A beautiful recap of the workshop "Music unites" from last Sunday. It was a lovely event, where singing, playing instruments, dancing and common stories brought together Estonian and Ukrainian cultures. Rute and Ruslan from Svjata Vatra definitely inspired us to be better people!

We sincerely thank the Ukrainian Club in Zaandam, the Estonian House in the Netherlands, the Ukrainian Embassy to the Netherlands and the Ukrainian Institute!

We are very happy that our Estonian dance group “Tuuletütred” was part of the Vyshyvanka Day celebrations in The Hague this week. This day honours one of the most iconic and recognizable Ukrainian traditions - special embroidery which forms part of Ukraine’s rich cultural heritage. Our dancers introduced Estonian traditional costumes and showed some beloved dances.

At the joint stand created under the leadership of the Estonian Food Association, existing and new customers are met, experiences and inspiration exchanged.
