Night of the Destination (NOTD) Charity Gala Dinner, 28 May 2026

H.E. Dato' Roseli Abdul, Ambassador of Malaysia, and Datin Khadijah Kok Abdullah, had the pleasure of attending the inaugural Night of the Destination (NOTD) Charity Gala Dinner organised by the Travelution Event & Media at the iconic Kurhaus Hotel in Scheveningen on 28 May 2026. Besides being a networking dinner for the travel industry in the Netherlands, the event also raised nearly EUR15,000 in auctions to support two special charities.

During the dinner, H.E. Dato' was interviewed by the event's emcee, Ms Sandra Schuurhoft, a well-known Dutch TV presenter and journalist, about the tourism sector of Malaysia, in which he took the opportunity to promote Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026). Malaysia was one of the 20 destinations promoted at the NOTD, as part of the continuous promotional efforts by Tourism Malaysia The Hague.

Visit to High Tech Campus Eindhoven, 26 May 2026

On 26 May 2026, H.E. Dato’ Roseli Abdul, Ambassador of Malaysia, visited the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, a high-tech centre and R&D ecosystem, as part of the continuous semiconductor diplomacy in the Netherlands.

During the visit, H.E. Dato' met with officials from High Tech NL, a national association representing Dutch tech firms; PhotonDelta, a developer of photonic chips; and Axelera AI, the largest AI-specific chipmaker in Europe.

Besides learning about the technical aspects of the latest high-tech trends, the engagements also touched on various elements relevant to both regional and global semiconductor/AI sectors.

Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di The Hague ingin memaklumkan, susulan keputusan pengurusan Masjid Al-Hikmah di The Hague, Hari Raya Aidiladha (10 Zulhijjah 1447H) akan jatuh pada hari Rabu, 27 Mei 2026.

Pada kesempatan ini, pihak Kedutaan ingin mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha kepada semua rakyat Malaysia yang beragama Islam di Belanda.

Foreign Policy Talks: Malaysia-Netherlands Bilateral Relations, 21 May 2026

In conjunction with the study visit by the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MAFDC) to the Netherlands, the Embassy organised an event entitled “Foreign Policy Talks: Malaysia-Netherlands Bilateral Relations” on 21 May 2026.

The overarching purpose of the event was to provide an overview of Malaysia-Netherlands bilateral ties as well as promote greater exchanges between diplomats and security officials.

During the event, H.E. Dato' Roseli Abdul, Ambassador of Malaysia, shared his insights and experience in describing the cordial bilateral ties between both countries, followed by a brief presentation from the Embassy and a Q&A session with the audience.
