🎉 Celebrating 58 Years of ASEAN! 🇲🇾🇮🇩🇵🇭🇹🇭🇻🇳

On 8 August 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in The Hague proudly hosted the ASEAN Day Celebration as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in The Hague (ACTH) — together with the Embassies of Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Guests enjoyed a lively morning filled with inspiring speeches, cultural exchange, warm camaraderie, and the flavours of ASEAN hospitality. Malaysian favourites — nasi lemak, teh tarik, and the specially prepared serawa durian — were among the crowd’s highlights, earning praise from attendees. It was a true showcase of ASEAN’s diversity and unity🌏✨

4th May 2025,Sweden- The Agriculture Counsellor Office and Tourism Malaysia in The Hague, in cooperation with the Embassy of Malaysia in Sweden, proudly presents the Taste of Malaysia at Matvärlden Kungens K***a from 3 to 4 May 2025. This campaign aims to introduce local consumers to the rich and diverse flavours of Malaysian food products, while strengthening Malaysia’s brand presence in the Swedish market.

In collaboration with Matvärlden, the promotion showcases over 20 SKUs high-quality Malaysian products, including snacks and biscuits, instant noodles, coffee, tea and tropical fruits.

Graced by Her Excellency Sarimah Akbar, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden, the event aims to provide a platform for introducing Malaysian food products to the local market in the capital city of Sweden, with a particular emphasis on fruits such as mangosteen, dragon fruit, passion fruit, and star fruit.
