EBBA is delighted to announce the appointment of Elise Hale and Elisabeth Rogers as its content creators, who will strengthen its communication, storytelling and digital engagement across the European brass band community.
Both bring a strong combination of brass band experience and professional communication skills, with backgrounds spanning journalism, social media, marketing and performance.

has earned a strong reputation across the British banding scene as the founder and driving force behind Brassing Around. Over the past three years, the platform has grown significantly, leading to opportunities to provide backstage and event coverage at major contests including the National Finals, the British Open and Brass in Concert.
Eliseโs contribution to brass band media has already received national recognition, earning her awards including BBC Young Reporter of the Year, Brass Bands England Young Bandsperson of the Year, and the British Bandsman "Looking to the Future" Award, alongside a nomination for the 4barsrest Newcomer of the Year Award, all in 2023.
On the playing side, Elise began aged eight through the Cyprus Music Service, before continuing her development with Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust. As a member of Youth Brass 2000, she's won three National Youth Brass Band Championships, performed at four European Youth Brass Band Championships, and has represented the The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain on Flugelhorn. She's currently Repiano Cornet at Derwent Brass, while studying Flugelhorn at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

is widely recognised across the movement for both her playing and her marketing work. She comes from Welsh brass banding roots, having grown up immersed in brass banding from a young age. She became Ammanford Town Silver Band's youngest ever principal cornet at just 14, before moving into Championship Section banding at 16. She was a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Wales from the age of 12, serving as its Principal Cornet on her final course in 2023 โ the same year she was selected for the European Youth Brass Band and attended the EBBC in Malmรถ, experiencing first-hand the international spirit that EBBA fosters.
She holds a degree in Music Performance (Cornet) from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama - Coleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru and has performed with leading bands across the UK at some of the country's most prestigious venues. Sheโs currently Assistant Principal Cornet at Ebbw Valley Brass, also touring annually with Desford Colliery Band across South East Asia.
Alongside her playing, Elisabeth has built a career in communications. Since 2019, she has supported the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain with social media coverage over contest weekends, and after completing her Music degree, she went on to complete an MSc in Strategic and Digital Marketing, graduating with distinction. She has since built a freelance marketing career working with organisations ranging from small businesses to larger corporate clients, and currently works as a Marketing Executive for an international education and data company.
