Today, I proudly joined other party leaders of Ward 2, Constituency 1 of Sagbama Local Government Area at our Ward Headquarters as we actively participated in the Bayelsa West Senatorial Party Primaries of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It was a peaceful, successful, and democratic exercise that once again showed the unity, strength, and commitment of our party members toward the progress of Bayelsa West and the development of our dear state.

I commend all party faithful, leaders, and stakeholders for their dedication and orderly conduct throughout the primaries. Together, we will continue to build a stronger and more progressive future for our people.

Today, I joined my colleagues on a condolence visit to the home town of Hon.Ben Ololo the Honourable Commissioner for Environment in Nembe over the passing of his beloved father, Chief Pst. B. A. Ololo-Ikirigo.

We pray that God grants the family the strength to bear this great loss and may the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace.

Today at the Workers’ Day celebration held at Peace Park, Yenagoa, I joined other well-meaning Bayelsans to honor the resilience, dedication, and invaluable contributions of our hardworking civil servants.

I wish to specially commend His Excellency, Douye Diri, for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of workers, as demonstrated by his directive for the immediate allocation of the 108 housing units in Okaka to civil servants. This landmark decision is not only timely but a clear reflection of a leadership that listens, understands, and responds to the needs of its people.

The Governor’s approval for the implementation of annual step increments, alongside the ongoing payment of promotion arrears, further reinforces the administration’s dedication to improving the standard of living of our workforce. The promise to enhance transportation with more modern buses equally speaks to a thoughtful and people-oriented governance.

I also join His Excellency in appreciating the support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the inauguration of key legacy projects in our dear state. These strides continue to position Bayelsa on a path of sustainable growth and development.

To our industrious workers, I say thank you for your partnership, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Bayelsa State. Your efforts remain the backbone of our collective prosperity.

As Honourable Commissioner for Culture, I celebrate you all today and always. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more prosperous Bayelsa.
